Vehicles are issued a nationally accepted fuel card and drivers are required to enter a secure PIN or Driver ID along with the vehicle odometer when the card is used at the pump. The transaction is authorized electronically and limits the transaction to your predetermined spending limits and fuel type and restricts driver spending to only what you allow. In addition, purchase information gathered is used to generate monthly fuel management and exception reports that contain information on the location, date time, driver ID, odometer reading, gallons purchased, and cost per gallon of every fuel transaction. It’s the best way to reduce and eliminate all unauthorized items such as non-fuel purchases, premium fuel use, multiple daily fill-ups, over-filling vehicle tank capacity, and other unapproved expenditures.
