Acme Auto Leasing offers all alternative fuel ‘Green’ vehicles available in the marketplace by all domestic and foreign automakers. These types of vehicles can run on the following sources of energy:
  • Biodiesel
  • Electricity
  • Hybrid electric vehicles
  • E85 (Flex Fuel) mixtures containing up to 85 percent ethanol
  • Compressed natural gas (CNG)
  • Liquified petroleum gas (LPG)

Common definitions of AFV configurations:

  • Dedicated AFVs – have one fuel system operating exclusively only on the alternative fuel, such as compressed natural gas (CNG) or electric. These are used most often by centrally-fueled vehicles.
  • Bi-Fuel AFVs – have two separate fuel systems; one dedicated to an alternative fuel (such as CNG or LPG) and one for gasoline.
  • Flex-Fuel AFVs (E85) – most common for both government and commercial use, and can operate on either the alternative fuel, gasoline, or any combination of the two up to 85% of the alternative fuel.
  • E85 (Flex Fuel) mixtures containing up to 85 percent ethanol
  • Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) – operate on a combination of fuel and electrical systems.
  • Electric Vehicles – operating exclusively on rechargeable electrical systems.
